About Me

Niyati Froind is an award-winning picture book writer-illustrator, based in Israel. She holds a Bachelor of Design (cum laude) from Shenkar College of Design and is a graduate of Alchimia School of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy.

Niyati is the Illustrator Coordinator for SCBWI Israel and a founding member of the Midnight Inkers Illustrator Collective.

Her illustrations have been featured in exhibitions worldwide and recognized by multiple awards. Her debut writer-illustrator picture book is coming in 2026.

She is passionate about creating mixed media, reaching for whatever colors are lying around her desk,

And she is a complete fan of hedgehogs and any kidlit with no grownups in sight.
